Had a very strange day today, but not a lot of it was Oppo worthy, so here’s the Pizza Planet toYOta from WALL-E in particular (here’s a fun little trivia piece I just learned. While the truck is modeled after a Toyota pickup, the actual truck is a “ 1978 Gyoza Mark VII Lite Hauler pickup truck.” That’s the official name, at least that’s what it says on the Pixar fandom wiki).
Me, my roommate, and his girlfriend just finished watching that, and it makes me a bit peeved that a trash collecting robot has more charm than me... and has had more action.
In other, less movie related news: I had a dream last night that I’m only just now remembering (apparently it takes me 24 hours to actually remember stuff... huh...)
I was parked outside someone’s house and left the key in the ignition, then closed the door of my car. For one reason or another, the car locked itself (my car should never do that with the key in the ignition unless prompted to do so by pushing the button on the door). I knew it was locked, but panicked because... well... I had no clue what to do. Looking back, I would’ve broken a window if worse came to worst, but since my car had no apps built in or phone numbers that can remotely unlock it, I just went on my merry way.
A little later in the dream, still panicked, I go back out to the car and the engine bay is completely on fire. Still running, and on fire. Not a winning combo. It was specifically on fire around my timing belt, more under the engine. Maybe I dreamed up an engine fault I never even knew about. Regardless, I woke up in a cold sweat cause I just watched the thing I care about the most die in front of me. Whether that’s a person or a car, it’s not a good dream to have.
Anyways, here’s a real life Pizza Planet truck for your troubles. Goodnight Oppo.

And do you know what gyoza are in Japanese? It’s what you call a potsticker.

In case you weren’t aware, that same truck is in Toy Story . It’s another one in a long list of Pixar cross over it em s. There are drawings of it allover other Pixar movies, too.
Due to having a kid that was briefly addicted to WALL-E, I’ve seen that movie dozens of times. Maybe it’s really good or maybe I have Stockholm syndrome, the world may never know.

Oh yeah, I’m always on the lookout for the cameos. The pic you posted is from Toy Story 2, and it’s my absolute favorite Pizza Planet truck cameo.
This whole scene had me cackling with laughter, although the already crappy manual transmission in this thing is likely toast.

Huh! You learn something new every day.

I tend to dream in trilogies of complex but unrelated events to happen to the same me. Strange, but the one I remember most recently I fell into a literal bathtub full of ticks owned by my best friend who was for some reason a tick farmer. Then I kept wandering around looking for ways to get rid of them. Then it devolved into an even more horrific scenario that I can't quite remember nor can I remember the events that led up to that.

Yikes... truth be told I don’t really want to know what horrific scenario it turned into. That’s just... yeugh...

If I recall, it happened multiple times. I would have been relieved to wake up except whatever that last bit I can’t remember now was was even worse.
Why can't I dream I can fly again? Well, I did have to fight off a zombie apocalypse to get there then beat an entirely imaginary computer game after that. My dreams seem to be uncommonly complex with many subplots.

I don’t usually read into dreams, even if they are recurring, but every so often, after a wacky nightmare or something else, I’ll find myself lucid. Those are the best nights, where dreams feel days long and then I wake up and it’s still late at night, so I can go bad to sleep and do it all over again.
Haven’t had a night like that in a while.

Yeah, my dreams seem to be more detailed and long than most other people's, at least in my family. I also have the luxury of full color dreams (oooh). I usually enjoy them but sometimes I'd rather not.

I tend to dream up cliffhangers. My dreams are often wild and exciting if s om ewhat crazy and nonsensical adventures involving everything from island tribes of warrior women to Ring Wraiths disguised as police motorcycles, and I never get to see how they end because that’s when I wake up :( On the bright side, the cars in my dreams are usually epic and very Oppo. I remember one dream involving a brown ‘74 Honda Civic on a Geo Tracker frame with an LS engine making 500 hp, and another dream where Santa’s sleigh looked like a ‘66 Thunderbird... And the dream with the Ring Wraith motorcycles involved a countryside car chase with a stolen pickup truck!

That sounds exciting yet also somewhat annoying to never know how they end. I’m not sure a police motorcycle is the best disg uise but it sure makes them easier to capture.
Like I said, I dream in trilogies. Let me explain. An example.
Part 1: zombie apocalyps e. In dream time: 6 hours or so.
I had to escape a horrific nightim e zombie raid on my tranquil cabin through an abandoned mine in an Until Dawn esque scenario full of fallen friends.
Part 2: video game my dream made up that somehow made total sense.
It is sort of what I imagine mine sweeper to be like except I have never played or seen anyone play that game. I’m impressed that my brain made it work.
Part 3: Sweeny. In dream time: 6 hours or so.
I discovered a charismatic f lubber like flying creature named Sweeny created by my dad , the reformed evil scientist. Since he had given up evil experiments, it was sort of like a forbidden friendship as I rode Sweeny on all sorts of wacky and crazy adventures until I had to dissolve him in water like some sort of evil witch because my dad wasn’t evil anymore and he was created by an evil experiment. I distinctly remember how detailed the city I flew over was, which was kinda like my town.
This was one dream and was more complex than I've said.
Also, full color dreams whooo!

I was genuinely surprised when I learned that most people don’t dream in color... I’m happy to say I enjoy the same luxury as you! But holy cow your dreams are complex... and the end of Sweeney sounds like it was depressing. RIP Sweeney.

It is rare for me to remember all three parts but that was one time where I just woke up and tried to enjoy it while I remembered everything.
Usually my brain turns my vivid imagination and Technicolor capability against me. Makes nightmares more interesting but also scarier.
